Welcome to the Victorian home of Henrietta Blair, granddaughter of Capt. Nehemiah Marks, the founding father of St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Blair House Heritage Inn combines an old-world atmosphere with modern comforts and conveniences.
Our home is smoke-free inside. There is ample off-street parking as our home is set back more than 100 feet from the street. Stroll our perennial flower and shrub gardens. Enjoy the morning or late-afternoon air from a garden bench and outdoor porch chairs.
The large living room offers a relaxing atmosphere with comfortable chairs, piano, books and quiet music. There is a guest telephone, cable TV and DVD/VCR available. The second floor offers a quiet reading area overlooking the gardens with an eclectic mix of books for both adults and children.
Comfortable beds, high ceilings and tall arched windows highlight our quiet bedrooms. All five bedrooms feature private ensuite bathrooms and other comforts of home. A room to satisfy every guest needs: queen, double or twin-size beds, with a choice of ground floor or second floor bedrooms for your convenience.
The St. Croix River with its 25 ft tides and waterfront walking trail are just below the house, and there’s plenty more for visitors to see and do in and around St. Stephen. Blair House Heritage Inn is noted for it’s friendly and helpful service – David and the ladies that serve breakfast and tend your rooms are here to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. We strive to be attentive without being intrusive. Have a question? Need something? Just ask.
