The John McAdam Room is named for the second owner of Blair House, the Honourable John McAdam, MLA and M.P.  Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, ‘Honest’ John McAdam was a long-time politician and lumber mill owner, who left his name to the Village of McAdam, a railway town to the north of St. Stephen with a magnificent railway station.
